Anthropic has expanded its AI productivity tool Claude Cowork to mobile devices and web browsers, allowing users to manage long-running AI tasks from virtually anywhere. Previously available only through desktop applications for Windows and macOS, the new rollout enables Max subscribers to start, monitor, and continue tasks across smartphones, tablets, and web browsers without needing their computers to remain active.

The update represents another step in the evolution of AI assistants from conversational chatbots into autonomous workplace tools capable of handling complex, multi-step assignments. With cloud-based task execution, users can begin a project on their desktop, receive progress notifications on their phone, and review completed work later, even if their laptop has been turned off.
